So much beautiful art! Amazed that it was free to visit. The building itself is a sight to see. The staff is helpful and friendly. We only had about an hour and a half but were able too see most everything . Just spectacular!

We visited the Art Museum over Memorial Weekend and although Forest Park was extremely crowded, we were lucky enough to find a free parking space. ($15 non-member parking also available) The collections here were varied. Everything from painting to pottery, china to marble, and even...More

Great compilation of works from many time periods and geographic locations. My teen sons particularly enjoyed the mummy room which included x-rays of the 3 mummies. We browsed the entire museum but I can imagine spending more time here on another day!

You can't go wrong going here. The best part is it's free. The view out front is amazing. Our favorite place in the city is sitting on art hill in front of the museum

Got out of a business meeting early and spent an hour here before my flight. This is a really great art museum. I highly recommend it even if you only have an hour. It is also on the way to the airport from down town.

Soooo big and spread out. Hard to find a couple of exhibits. Kids got bored after one floor. Lots of variety between cultures, artistic styles, sculptures, furniture...tons of variety.

Free - except for certain limited exhibits - welcome to St. Louis!
My mother and I will be coming here next Friday and also have tickets to the extra exhibit. She is an art teacher and could spend all day here. I on the other hand, could do a 30 minute walk through and feel like I've seen it all. Knowing my flat footed, pregnant self, I don't plan to stay with her the whole time. Is there a good place to sit and read a book and any food there?
