We've been to the Ulysses S. Grant national historic site on several occasions. If you can take the time, take the ranger lead tour of the grounds to learn about Ulysses's life before and after his presidency. It's right up the street from Grant's farm...More

Went there with my youngest grandaughter and it was a lot of fun with many things to do. Lots of animals shows etc. Make sure you try the paddleboats after your visit. Tiring but lots of fun and great exercise.More

It was interesting to see where he courted his future wife and here how the house was run. Not a mansion by any stretch of the imagination, but interesting non the less.
