What a fun, interesting way to spend a couple of hours in Historic Downton Sikeston. The volunteers that have created this museum have done a fantastic job of displaying items and articles from days gone by in Sikeston, Missouri. Everything in the old Depot has been donated or loaned for the public to see and enjoy. I especially enjoyed the... More

The Depot was a brainchild of several residents to preserve the history of the community. There are wonderful permanent exhibits as well as rotating seasonal exhibits. Local artists display their work and there are always book signings, musical events that coincide with the Historical Downtown schedule. It is a lovely stop for someone who likes small town, agricultural history that... More

The train museum is inside the old train depot there in Sikeston. It was very interesting and had a lot of things about the old depot . My kids loved it and so did I . They had a few things to sell about the depot and Sikeston and had brochures about the area. The ladies that where there the... More

We enjoyed visiting the Sikeston Depot. The museum items were interesting, and we were able to view an art show. It was also a great place to pick up brochures and maps.

This is a very nice RR museum, with nice displays of RR and area items. Worth a visit. It is easy access in downtown Sikeston. Also parking is not a problem. A nice city park is next door. Sit out, enjoy a lunch and sit in the shade.

The Sikeston area people have done a great job of rejuvenating the old depot. The museum inside has a lot of RR items and area items to view. It also has an area dedicated to art displays. It is worth a stop in and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The displays Of antique Railway maintenance & station items, were only surpassed,, in interest, to those from the railway cars. I've been a "railroader" all my live, growing up in a small railway crossroad town. I still found items of interest that are seldom seen. Hopefully the tourist & area enthusiasts can raise some $'s to upgrade this fine centerpiece,... More

We visited the Depot Museum with Friends, and was disappointed that the Caboose was in such poor condition. The museum inside the Depot was interesting with lots of displays from Days gone by!
