We were visiting from Iowa and took 7 kids here between the two families. The nature center was clean with lots of activities and beautiful artwork. There is no entrance fee for either the center or trails. The trails are well maintained. One loop is an all access blacktop trail and the others are gravel. There's a nice boardwalk and... More

This is a great place to take a walk alone or with the family. Deer and turkey wander the park. You can walk on paved trail or a little rougher terrain. There are benches to rest on throughout the park. The path can be hilly, but is worth the climb.

This place has beautiful trail and tons of deer to watch. We enjoy taking a picnic lunch and watching the chipmunks and birds at the feeding station.

I love this place for a quick run. It has several trails, but the longest is about 2 miles. Trails are maintained beautifully! They vary from wood to gravel to stone. You can easily make your run longer by detouring onto other trails. There's a water fountain at the main building--bathrooms too. It's a little hilly, but a really fun... More

Great place to see nature right on the edge of Springfield. Great walking trails. Lots of shade in the summer.

Love the learning area inside, but my sons have seen it so many times now they don't much care for it any more. Always love walking the trails, there are some wonderfully peaceful spots I love to go sit and read.

We've visited the park several times and hiked most of its trails. Trails did not disappoint and the nature center is great for the kids.

We've been coming here when we visit Springfield since they opened it. It is at the far corner of the city, so depending on where in the city you are, it could be a 20+ min. drive. But, it is the perfect place to take kids to let them run off some energy, go for a stroll, or a pretty... More
