We live in Jefferson City, MO and our downtown has no Missouri River access unless you cross the bridge to the North shore line. It is so great to get off the train in Washington and be able to access a trail that wanders along...More

Really hard to be a riverfront view... and railroad traks nearby always amaze the kids. Plenty of space to hang out with firends, listen to live music, eat great food and relax. Sunsets are gorgeous.

I like to go walking on the trail. Right on the river, though the trail follows you don't get to see much of it. Still a beautiful and relaxing place to go. Great for picnics.

The park is a most pleasant feature of this beautiful river town. It has well maintained grounds and pavilions and several historic markers showing where landings for riverboats once were and Lewis and Clark's encampments and even a little known Civil War battle. The Park...More

This is a nice part at the riverfront. There are a number of events there every year. It is a great place to sit and watch boats or just the river going by.
