We booked 7 days advance and managed to get a personalized tour of the Beer making process and factory. Krusovice is one of the oldest breweries in Europe and a must visit if in the area. The tour guide was a young student - I can't remember her name - but special thanks to her enthusiasm and knowledge we got to learn so much about how they brew their famous beers. The degustation was loads of fun and good prices at the shop to pick up some of Krusovice good variety of lagers! They been have a beer sommelier course held at times but sadly are sold out much in advance.

This is one of the oldest breweries in Europe with a lot of tradition and a great product. What's amazing is the love that employees show for what they do. The beer is great, the degustation after the tour deserves a stop here. I recommend it!

This is one of the Czech standard breweries. Tourists are usually brought in buses on their tour to Karlovy Vary and parked at the refreshment stalls for shopping. Beer is fresh and tasty, but if you want to go beyond you must call to the brewery and make a reservation for a private guided tour. Our one was nice finished with the tasting of main kinds.

We enjoyed a fantastic tour, which due to the fact it’s not in one of the main cities tends to be a lot quieter.
We were really lucky and it was just myself and my wife, with our excellent guide who spoke really good English. Unfortunately I can’t remember his name but he was really good, and put up with my constant talking and questions 😂
The tour was interesting, learning about the rich history of this brewery, which was owned by Czech Royalty and has been a recognised brewer since 1581.
The beer itself is, in my opinion, the best in Czechia. The flavour is wonderful. The tasting at the end of the tour included several of their beers, and I enjoyed them all.
We were again very lucky to be the first English visitors that got to taste their new Bohém beer, which is a slightly lighter pilsner, as with all their brews this was also very good.
If you have the chance to visit this great little brewery make sure you do, it’s well worth it.

I made arrangements to do this tour before heading to the Czech Republic via email. I received a response right away, confirming our time of arrival and group size (3).
There was a large bus group that arrived a few minutes after us, and they were a separate tour group. Ours was conducted entirely in English.

The tour was outstanding and the beer was great. One of the oldest breweries in Europe. My second visit once on a tour bus this time with my wife and another couple. A great half day trip.

We flew over for the day on Saturday 17/10. Although the brewery was closed for the weekend, the manager kindly opened up for us and be a guided tour around. The tour was very informative, beautifully presented with such lovely historic buildings! Then tasting the beers afterwards followed by a plate of lovely goulash really topped off the day!! Massive thank you to Josef & his staff!! We will continue to sell Krusovice with pride now!!

I have been to the Czech Republic over 20 times and this is my favorite beer! If you can get the non filtered Krusovice, even better!! This is a bit out of Prague, but worth the trip and the time. It is a really cool brewery, in a small town, that brews and serves amazing better!! Long Live the King!!! The staff are very nice and the tours are interesting (with a tasting at the end).

Located a short drive west of Prague on the E48/6 route if you are short for time but if you would also like to enjoy some great scenery get off the E48/6 at the Nove Stracesi Exit and head south on the 237 until you enter the Town of Rakovnik. You will work your way through town and will shortly come to a T intersection that will connect you with 229 headed north. Follow this route through the charming town of Lisany and then reconnect with E48/6 and take a right heading Northwest. The Brewery will be a short distance on your right. The drive is quite beautiful as you travel through some very pretty country. Heavily wooded forest, rolling hills, farm fields and quaint villages greet you along the way. The Brewery itself has been around for some time but if you take the tour you will see all the modern equipment that keeps Beer flowing steadily and with great consistency. The brewery offers food, drink, tours, shopping and indoor and outdoor seating. I traveled here with my cousin and friends on a Annual Classic Car Rally (The Seven Castles Trial) that departed from Prague but made a few stops on the way. We were treated with great hospitality upon entering and a fine Czech lunch and Pivo awaited us in the cellar restaurant. I had a great time here and really enjoyed the visit. Picked up a few souvenirs that were very modestly priced and after a warm send off by our hosts we were on are way. Take your time and enjoy a nice side trip out of the hustle and bustle of the Prague city life.
