Wife & I did the sleigh ride & dinner last year. It was a fun ride up to the little cabin where our meals were prepared. Our food was great and the old timer playing and singing MT cowboy songs was a lot of fun. I do think it's a little over priced at $125/pp. It was fun to see... More

The staff was not Very friendly. We went back 2 days after our initial rental to rent helmets(which they never offered) and to exchange a ski boot because they gave us one pair with 2 different sizes. The guy waiting on us was very rude, impatient and acted like it was our fault we were given the wrong boots. Would... More

A great ride in a sleigh behind two beautiful horses (we had Howdy and Pearl and driver Bruce) up to a cabin where dinner is waiting for you! There is no power and the room is heated by a massive wood stove with a history! They did accommodate vegetarian with an extra veggie. No protein source, but the cook is... More

Had we not heard that it is World Class or Premiere, the skiing would have been really great for late in the season. To be World Class or one of the nations premiere xc-skiing destinations, they will have to groom each morning rather than every other day as it snows a lot there. The staff was great. We also did... We went last year and it was a highlight of our trip. This year was a total disappointment. To start, we asked about buying wine and were told we could go to the saloon to purchase if we wanted a larger selection than was available in the check in center. We asked about it in the saloon and the man... More

Our family - 3 teens who would have rather been downhill skiing - rented Xc skis during a "downhill ski day off". We drove to the beginner golf course area, had a ball! There are several close lunch restaurant choices to almost ski in/out. The highlight was a moose who was resting in the reeds right in the trail! Great... More

Although the sleigh ride was short, it was delightful. The horses were just amazing and the dinner just fabulous. Tomato soup delicious, the prime rib roast was to die for (even got offered seconds, which we did not hesitate to have) and the homemade cheesecake a real treat. Bruce the singing cowboy made the evening. All the crew looked after... More

We booked the dog sledding, and were excited to experience it. They include brunch with the activity, but we were more interested in the activity. We came in March, and they have had a bit of warm weather, so they had to shorten the ride. We used a go-pro camera and filmed it, so we know that we got exactly... More

This was our first visit to Big Sky for skiing. It was a great week. The sleigh ride at the Lone Mountain Ranch was the cherry on the top. It was a beautiful night riding through the forest with a full moon and stars out. The food and ambience was great. The music provided by Bruce the singing cowboy made... More

I was so excited to do this with our family for valentines day. I don't ever need to do it again. The "ride" is 3/4 of a mile up and 3/4 of mile back. On the way up we had to stop for the horses to rest, twice. Our reservation receipt clearly stated that soft drinks were available at the... More
