Alpine ski novices, our family of five showed up at Bohart for lessons on a very cold Monday afternoon. Turns out the 11:45 lesson was supposed to be skate, but the two lovely people working there were incredibly accommodating and got us suited up for alpine lessons anyway. Our instructor, Cat, was a great teacher and very patient with us... More

This was a great find on our way to the Idaho border where we expected to ski on ungroomed trails. I wish we had had more time--or stamina--to stay longer than we did as the weather was ideal with sun and temps in the low 20s. We are used to skiing in New Hampshire and Vermont, so gliding on dry... More

This river is beautiful and full of trout. Access is easy with road yards away from numerous excelllent fishing spots. The trout here are catchable year round. Always with nymphs and often w seasonal dry flies. There are large trout in the river, mostly rainbows and some huge browns. Gallatin Riverguides is excellent source of hints and equipment on highway... More

Trails for all levels of cross country skiing, biathalon training, excellent trail grooming, fun for the whole family. Scenic vistas, very close to Bridger Bowl if you are with others who want to downhill ski and you want to cross country. Recommended.

Took cross country skiing lessons, really a good workout. Beautiful trails nestled in the woods with great paths.

Skiing here is very enjoyable, trails range from very flat to steep and challenging. Rental equipment and lessons are available and there is also the option to snowshoe off the trails. In the summer, mountain biking, running and frisbee golf are allowed.

Although I've cross country skied before, I've noticed how 'real skiers' blow by me. I decided to take a class to learn more. It was outstanding: it gave me immediately usable skills, a set of practices I can keep working on, and a bit of a philosophical perspective, too, about engaging in a sport that has a long term potential... My sons were snowboarding at Bridger Bowl, we needed a place to snowshoe, and even though this is an amazing cross country ski center, they had a beautiful snowshoe trail that we loved! We were 1/2 mile from Bridger Bowl and snowshoed with the Bridgers in spectacular view!! The people there are very friendly, and we loved our afternoon of... More
