Visited in June with 12 other photographer friends. Lots of buildings to explore and history to learn. We spent two blocks of time here and I stopped again on my way back to Missoula.

Quite an entertaining place to walk through as it provides the opportunity to learn and see first hand how life was many years ago. Buy the booklet that they offer as it provides much needed information about the different houses and buildings.

Renovated ghost town. Buildings accessible and historical write ups for a self guided walking tour. Riparian area makes for excellent birding!

I concur with Debby G, the Countryside RV park outside Dillon is a nice place to stay and just a short beautiful drive to Bannack.

Maybe you could call them on the phone. Someone (not a ghost) is there all day at the building where you pay and buy suveniers.
