The ranger at the front desk was just wonderful! Friendly, knowledgeable and helpfu! Bought books about Shep the dog and a bird guide. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie and displays.

There is a good 20minute movie to begin the visit, lots of interactive exhibits that are entertaining as well as informative. Well worth a visit whether you're a visitor from out of state or a native Montanan.

Visited here before paddling the Upper Missouri River and it was very helpful to obtain maps and get an overview of what Lewis and Clark did and what to expect. Great film, don't miss it!
