This is a must see. It's located in a beautiful park that's filled with spruce and other evergreen trees and its on the river. The natural springs bubble up and spill over into the river making a small waterfall. The colors in the spring pool are lovely. There is a small bridge you can walk over the springs. There's also... Giant Springs is full of wildlife; there is so much to see and do. The Park encompasses 5 dams, 4 waterfalls, the Springs, the shortest River in the World (the Roe River) and the longest River in the Country (the Missouri River). I'm so glad that you had such a great visit. Come back and see us soon! Tamara Tollett... More

After visiting the springs, I hiked along the Missouri River on miles of paved trails. I also stopped at the Lewis and Clark interpretive center along the trail. A great place to experience the majesty of the Missouri River and the great plains.

Giant Springs hasn't changed a bit. Great place to visit on a hot summer day in Great Falls. Plenty of shade with places to sit and relax. Wrapping your head around the fact that 156 million gallons of water bubbles up each and every day of the year is mind blowing. Discovered during the Lewis & Clark Expedition.

Giant Springs State Park is a great place to relax in the summer. The Springs are a beautiful, amazing, natural phenomena that is hard to fully grasp. There is a lot of history here at the Park, as it was indeed first documented in the Lewis & Clark Journals. Thanks! Tamara Tollett Giant Springs State Park Ranger More

Seeing the springs bubble up from the Earth into the clearest water I have ever seen was amazing! We went there to hike, however, and encountered some difficulties because the trails were not well marked. Overall, a nice stop when in Great Falls.

The spring was very peaceful and lovely to visit. The kids playground was a great surprise for my 4 year old. I was disappointed in the hatchery - it wasn't open.

We parked in the parking lot and took a walk down around the Giant Springs. It is something to watch the water coming up from below and seeing it run over the edges of the spring area. It is usually quiet there and very relaxing. If you are into bird watching there is a large area where trees are and... More

We just found this place by accident while drinking around Great Falls. The hatchery was cool and the springs are absolutely beautiful!!! The biggest natural springs we have seen in our travels. Beautiful park by the river and springs for pets, kids and picnics!!! Very romantic setting as well.

My car was in the shop and I stumbled in on this park. It had a little water fall area and places for dogs to fetch sticks. There were beautiful swans out in the lake...but the water was a little algae ridden. I did enjoy walking the trails to get some exercise.

I'm so glad your surprise visit to Giant Springs State Park was pleasant. The Park provides many recreational activities and is very picturesque. Unfortunately, we cannot help the natural vegetation and flow of the Missouri River. Tamara Tollett Gianat Springs State Park Ranger More
