We recently came back to Great Falls for our Uncle's funeral. The reception afterwards was held upstairs at the gallery. We were very thankful as the staff was exceptional and generous of its use upstairs for a very reasonable price. The rooms are large and...More

This is a former junior high, I believe, that has been transformed into an art museum with mostly local artists. There were many landscapes and a special exhibit by Betty LaDuke who studied art in New York City, Denver and Mexico City where she attended...More

There's nothing in there. The only possible point of interest is that the building is an old (1900s) public school. If you went to a large, urban public school built in the 1900s, this building is identical, which is interesting in itself.

Absolutely love the outsider art exhibit of Lee Steen, and the Iraq war memorial. This visit the student art was a very positive note on the upcoming generation and their incredible talent.

An interesting collection of modern art located inside a historic old school that was built in the very late 1800's. While wandering through the main hall on the first floor Tracy Houck (the executive director) mistook me for someone she was meeting but then graciously...More

This is funded historically by local business to keep it free. It is an old school, with stone and big windows, surrounded by streets, a small garden and with art, a gift shop and school art activitities. It also is used for parties, which I...More
