I really enjoyed walking by the little cabins and reading plaques about the history items inside. It amazes me what wonderful buildings people could build in the side of a hard hill. Walking all around the small area was fun and if you go up...More

Reeder's Alley is quaint and charming but so DEAD and uneventful! It's such a beautiful little spot with charming shops (most of which never seem open), a beautiful walkway and covered veranda. It has a lovely park like setting and features historic buildings and a...More

A small collection of homes on a cobblestone street. This was where the miners used to live. The buildings are all businesses now, you can only go into the pioneer cabin. If the buildings look out of place in Montana it's because Reeder was from...More

The old miners' homes on this short street are worth a look. Most of them have been turned into shops and offices, but you're done with this almost before you know it.

Reeder's Alley is a very old part of Helena. That is a trappers cottage that has been preserved. The visitors center was a lot of help, particularly planning future trips. Sadly, they is not much else on Reeder's Alley.

The day we were there no one was around and it was under whelming to say the least. It certainly has the potential to be a hot spot with the brick street and little shops, but it needs some tender loving care!

An underwhelming walk up an old restored street-You do,get to see next door an original trappers cabin from the earliest days of Montana- makes it a worthwhile visit
