Stopped by to ask where the post office was. Ended up spending 2 hours in this museum. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very informative. Really cool museum in a very historic building.

Always have to visit the model trains downstairs in the Depot Center when we travel to Livingston. The detail and authenticity is amazing. It is a must!

I came across this place by accident driving though town. Great for train lovers and local history buffs. I enjoyed my walk though and it's only $5. They also had a small section upstairs on movies made in Montana.

It was closed when we were there but we walked around the outside. It is a very beautiful building, lots of detailed architecture.

You will be welcomed by warm, friendly smiles. Jan, and another kind woman, gave us more information about Livingston's local history, and how this particular building was saved from being torn down to make way for something more "modern" ...what a tragedy this would have...More

The displays are very informative and interesting. Great videos throughout the displays. Tons of local information and items. Great little gift shop. This was actually our 2nd visit to this museum and it was as interesting as the first time.
