Very quiet place to walk and think, and likely view wildlife in the process. Only a few miles off I-90, but like a world away.

We needed a place to stretch our legs after a long drive in the car. This place was perfect. The trails are quite scenic and there are restrooms at the trailhead. The main trail follows along a stream. We liked this place so much, we...More

I spent an excellent afternoon biking on these trails. They were fun, well marked and the scenery was beautiful. Not far from town and there was a bit of overcrowding at the parking lot at the trail head.

It is a huge land mass natural habitat area to explore, admire the beauty and lends itself to participation year round. No food is available there however. Free and lovely. Come prepared and lock cars in trail head area

At first I tried a less traveled section of the area where I saw people hiking, running and mountain biking. Plenty of wooded areas as well as hilly and flat areas...a little for everyone! Then I drove over to the busier trailhead and found plenty...More

We wandered around this park and really enjoyed the experience. We were on the paved trail for a while then went off to a hiking trail. Peace and quiet ~

Yes. There different trails to choose from and shorter routes. It is all so beautiful you'll enjoy even a short trek. And, the trailhead is a good spot to rest up before and after. Hope you have fun!

Just a few miles north of Missoula. Go up Rattlesnake Drive four miles to the trailhead.
