It’s a pretty short ride up Grant Creek from Interstate 90–go on in to left, right past the service station above I-90 and Starbucks. It’s an impressive building, with an awesome diorama, and trophy head room. If you’re an avid deer and/or elk hunter, it’s...More

Three visits to Missoula and three to the Elk Foundation. It's a great place to take small children as there is much stuffed wildlife to see and hands-on audio exhibits of nature sounds that little ones love. Don't miss this free family experience and don't...More

This was a very interesting unplanned stop. It gave an excellent overview of the situation with Elk in the United States and how they are being preserved. Probably not for every one but I highly recommend this place.

The RMEF is a great organization that helps foster quality wildlife management. Their Headquarters is worth a stop to see huge elk mounts and other educational information about being good stewards.

Interior is nice and the displays interesting -- visited the center while biking on the Grant Creek bike trail that runs alongside the center -- one note, they do not like bikers/walkers parking cars in their lot!
