A wonderful drive up the west side of Glacier NP.
Bakery lived up to all the hype. Excellent selection of muffins and pastries. My choice; the fruit cake, was superb. Excellent picnic sandwich choices also. Homey atmosphere with friendly help.

We stumbled upon this place while road tripping it around Glacier Park.
Walked inside the store and there was a line 15 people long to by baked goods. The caramel rolls are huge!
Nice, peaceful beer garden just outside the store too (also a café)....More
Lots of old historic items and pictures inside the Mercantile, and out. They are very well known for their fresh-baked pastries, and people come from miles around to enjoy them. They also sell t-shirts and other souvenirs, including books and locally made items.
