Viewing the Lower Falls from the viewpoint accessible from the second parking lot was well worth the parking lot wait. Wish the parking area for the Upper Falls had been open but it appeared that they were remodeling it, to be open some future season.

The Yellowstone River is a spectacular body of water that runs through Yellowstone Park. It is especially beautiful seeing at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. It is very cold and can be very swift, so be very careful if you are near the edge....More

All downhill to the top of the second falls, with great viewing of the awesome powerful waterfall! The trip back up to the parking lot wasn't bad! Take your camera and a water bottle

What a fabulous trip through Yellowstone National Park. The river, wild life and scenery are spectacular. The thermal attractions are amazing and astounding! Hard to believe what you are actually seeing and that the earth is so alive under your feet.

We had to spend 2 days to cover all 3 states of Yellowstone( Idaho, Wyoming, Montana). It's my 2nd time but I still have to see it over and over to believe what a beautiful view and wonderful creation. I think it is not advisable...More

The Yellowstone River was a fascinating place to be. I loved the view and sounds of rushing water on the Falls and the colors presented on the canyon walls.

Although the trek down and back up could be considered fairly strenuous for some, the views are absolutely breathtaking! The switchbacks are mostly 'paved', but very narrow. I would not consider even taking a small stroller. Take a bottle of water, but that's a no-brainer...More

We saw this river from different view points and it was brilliant. The river was fast flowing and absolutely beautiful scenic views. Well worth visiting.

We went to Artist Point and that had the best view and also some walking trails. You can also go to the fall its self but it's a long walk down and would be tough for anyone not being able to walk up and down....More

Just as tremendous as I always imagined. Be sure to see it from several of the vantage points because they each give you a unique perspective on this powerful and beautiful site.

There are several rafting companies along the Snake River. Frankly I can't recall the name of the one we took, but all seemed to be pretty similar as we passed them along the way. Bundle up though it's pretty chilly out on... More
