I can honestly say that there isn't a place in Yellowstone that isn't just magnificent. The woods, the waters, the wildlife, they are all just spectacular. No matter what season, Yellowstone is one beautiful gem

All of Yellowstone National Park is a treasure. We were there the first week of October and some of the roads were closing in the park due to construction. Check ahead before you visit during the winter months.

It had snowed during the night and early morning hours on the day that we visited Canyon Village and the Canyon. This turned out to be an unexpected bonus as we took many beautiful photos of the snow, etc. and had great views.

Missed seeing this on our last Yellowstone trip but glad we did it this time. Spent an hour walking a couple of trails on our way to Lamar Valley. Yet another diverse location in the park with amazing geology.

Calling this the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone is perfect! We went to at least 4 of the overlooks and walked the Red Rock trail. Spectacular views from every angle!

There are several rafting companies along the Snake River. Frankly I can't recall the name of the one we took, but all seemed to be pretty similar as we passed them along the way. Bundle up though it's pretty chilly out on... More
