Whitefish Mountain Resort, in northwest Montana, is noted for its laid-back vibe, world-class skiing, and unbeatable value. The resort sees an average of 300 inches of snow on its 3,000 acres, and is as well known for a pleasant lack of lift lines as for its consistently good snow conditions. When the snow melts, Whitefish Mountain Resort becomes home to thrilling zip lines and an alpine slide, world-class downhill and cross-country mountain biking, and the unique Walk in the Treetops, in addition to spectacular hiking, water sports, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, Glacier National Park, and more available in the greater Whitefish area. It is the perfect base camp for a summer visit to Montana’s majestic Flathead Valley.

Wonderful ski resort. Long runs, short lift lines. We enjoyed new snow each day we were there. The views of the valley are amazing. Look for the snow ghosts when you go😉

This is a great resort. Friendly people all around. Easy access to skiing, the spa, and downtown. Kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and walking around the lake.

We stayed here with a ski club. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The service was great, they were friendly and helpful, with good knowledge of the menu. Lots of interesting choices.

The only regret you will have in that part of Montana is that your stay is too short.😊 If you can get to Glacier Park by all means do! Like mentioned by other TA members the seasons effect how far into the park you can go... More
