- Kerry F4 contributionsMeandering with alpacas 🦙Alpacas are SO adorable!!!😍 Two friends and I really enjoyed the "alpaca trekking" tour today. What a unique and lovely experience! We highly recommend going to Little Foot Alpacas near Spencerville (South of Kemptville). They also have a 1200 square foot Airbnb on site. Caroline was an awesome person who not only taught us so much about alpacas, but she was charming and entertaining and her enthusiasm for these wonderful animals was contagious! Even if you go just for the photo opportunities, go check them out and help support this lovely couple and their alpaca farm. 🦙Glad you enjoyed your visitWritten November 14, 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten October 14, 2023
- Jenn P1 contributionFamily time with alpacasWe visited this sweet little farm this week. The tour was amazing and we learned a lot about alpacas. It was done in a very well organized way. The alpacas are so sweet with different personalities. We fed them and took a lot of pictures. The best is that you book your times and so it feels very personalized. At the end, we went in and bought some Alpaca socks ( no sales pressure to buy at all). Thank you for a great time. My feet are also really warm right now 😄. Highly recommend going!Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten January 3, 2024

Little Foot Alpacas is a great place to visit. I took my granddaughter with me. We both enjoyed the experience. We learned some interesting facts about Alpacas. Caroline, the owner let us feed the Alpacas treats that were provided by her. They ate out of our hands. The best part was walking them. They have a safe area where we could take them out for their walk. We were able to sit down on the grass and take some pictures of them.
Alpacas are so adorable and they do have their own unique personalities.

We came from Downtown Ottawa to this amazing alpaca farm, it was an easy drive no confusing roads!
The alpacas were so cute and friendly, I loved doing the little walk with them with my girlfriend.
The tour guide we had was amazing; his name was Ben and knew so much about the alpacas and told us tons of cool facts about them.
The owner Caroline was super sweet and inviting, it was so cozy and warm in the building.
We loved it there and hope to go back there when it is warm!

What a fun and educational visit! We took our 5 & 8 year old granddaughters and absolutely fell in love with the little alpacas. Christine shared her extensive knowledge with us while the girls got to interact, hug, feed and even kiss the little ones. It was a great family outing. They also have a lovely little shop full of gorgeous alpaca wool products. We are all looking forward to visiting again sometime.

Fun outing for all ages! Caroline is super knowledgable and keen to teach visitors about alpacas. We learned about the animals and how their fleece is processed, while interacting with the herd on the farm tour. They take the food so gently from your hands!
We opted to do Alpaca Trekking too, for a more personal experience. Each person took a haltered alpaca for a walk within the fenced path around the perimeter of the farm. The alpacas loved the chance to graze in a new spot and we loved petting their super soft fleece.
The farm is so peaceful and was a welcome change of scenery from the city. Highly recommend!

First, the space and land are stunning, it’s clear Shawn and Caroline care a lot about their animals and property. The fields for the alpacas are so well maintained and you can see how happy the alpacas are. The alpacas have so much personality and it is such a wonderful, calming, and educational experience to learn about these animals, get to walk them around the property on a trek, and watch them frolick.
