Mike Weir has always been an awesome park. It is very spacious, has a sheltered picnic area, big playground, beach and now even an ice cream trailer offering scooped ice cream, dairy free&gluten free as well!! So grateful to have such an amazing space so close to home.

A local person suggested we bike through here on the way to Bright's Grove. What a great result! There is a wonderful paved path with water views all the way. Washrooms, too.

Great park with play area for the kids, and beach access. Also have a few road loops, so you can get some friends and have walking groups, or small bike groups. Has a small pavilion for picnics!

Well kept green space. Good to just sit, relax, walk the beach, look at the lake and just enjoy the park. Could take in a cricket match on Sunday's.

Mike Weir Park is a favourite of locals - for a place to walk the dog, enjoy some time with children, and swim. A great (though small beach) on beautiful Lake Huron. Great playground equipment for children. A covered picnic area available for group use -- book in advance. My church has had it's annual Picnic here on several occasions.

This is a beautiful park that is well kept but used very little. Perhaps it's a hidden gem that should be kept just the way it is. Large, spacious grounds that from the entrance, winds its way to a paved parking area overlooking the water. It's a short stroll from this to the beach itself where there is a sandy area for children to play and families to enjoy. Picnic tables for those hungry after water activities and if you forget something there is a Foodland and Shoppers just a short distance away in Bright's Grove. A playground for the little ones and lots of area to enjoy both watersports, bike trails, games or just relaxing.

Nice to pack a lunch pull up and park under a tree set up and have a picnic. Very quiet and calm. Lots of shade trees and open spaces. Kids love the beach area and playing on the equpment.
