favorite park in town

Great place to take your kids or to just go for a walk! There is a splash pad and playground for the kids, and in the summer they also have paddle boats to take out on the lake!

Very nice park, all the standard park features plus an observation tower, walking and bicycling trails, cool water feature for the kids when in season. Lake with fishing all in a nice location.

One of the best things to do in town, especially if you have kids and the weather is warm. The sprayground is a blast. Even if you don't have kids or it's cooler, this is a nice place to walk around, ride bikes, climb the tower, etc. Well worth going out.

This park is really clean and a lot of the locals were enjoying themselves. The park has a lot of land with lots of neat areas catered to kids, picnics, grilling, and walking. The main draw for me was the observation tower centered in the park. The view of the town is nice after climbing a few flights of stairs... More

Excellent meeting rooms; too bad the ice on the lake wasn't thick enough for the on-ice fishing originally planned.

Located in SW Kearney near a hospital. Something to please everyone. Fishing. Playground. Splashground. Amphitheater. Senior Citizens Activity Center. Tower. Garden. Lanterns. Labyrinth. Well maintained grounds. Clean. Safe. Need to get off I-80 to access but well worth the detour.

I really enjoy visiting Yanney Heritage Park with my yellow Lab Kali. There is so much to see & do such as walk along the hike & bike trail, or watch the children come to life playing in the 2 splash pads. We can play fetch with her ball or let her walk along the water's edge. It is always... More

I went to this park today and spent from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 19. This by far, is probably the best place in Nebraka with ALL that there is to do here. I went here to hike and then found the Senior Center and so I am going to try to go eat at this Senior... More

I wish we lived here just because this park is so beautiful! We rode our bikes on the trail (23) miles and it was very smooth and well used. We came back for sunset. We climbed the 120 steps up the tower which has great 360 views of the area. We walked the labyrinth which was cool. So much to... More
