Amazing venue! The Fibre Art Displays on 3 floors were diverse as well as presented in a very unique way. Not just impaled on the wall the one show was intelligently respectfully displayed in a very unique and compelling way.

We spent four days in Lincoln Nebraska and one of the museums we visited was the International Quilt Museum. I would not consider myself a "quilt" person but this museum was totally top shelf. One of the displays had quilts by Ardis James. Ardis happens...More

Put this on our itinerary when we visited Lincoln because my wife used to make quilts and I thought she might like a museum dedicated to quilts. Surprisingly I enjoyed it as well. The quilts range from artistic medium to the ones Grandma made. The...More

I admit, I expected as a quilter wanna-be that I would visit and marvel at the talent and skill necessary to create beautiful quilts. I also expected to see a variety of quilts, reflective of different eras. The museum has over 5000 quilts which they...More

Beautiful facility. I really enjoyed the exhibits. They also have a nice 'shop' with some unique quilting items.

Superb collection of historical and modern Quilts. Beautifully displayed in gallery settings. 3 or 4 curated shows plus several other focused smaller groups or individual Quilt artists showing at all times. The architecture is very interesting by Robert A M Sterns ,incorporating many Quilt motifs.

Were were here for their First Friday concert night and it was a great experience. The acoustics were very nice for the concert, the people were very friendly and the exhibits were interesting for me and my two daughters (5th grade and 1st grade).

I went with 4 other women and I wasn't too excited about the quilt museum. I was mesmerized by the beautiful quilts, and the variety was amazing! Not just 'grandmas quilts', but true art forms and historic ones as well. I would certainly recommend it...More

We need recommendation for a motel near the Museum. I will be there September 24, are there any special events that day? My husband will be dropping me off to spend the day. Is there some place for me to get lunch?

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express after a horrible experience at the Days Inn at the north end of Lincoln. We ate at several locations and I'm afraid I don't recall which restaurant was close to the museum. The museum and... More
