What a fantastic museum! The layout is interesting and intuitive, and I learned all kinds of things that I didn't know about the hundreds of millions of years of evolutionary history buried and recovered right in Nebraska. The displays are colorful and engaging. The planetarium, unfortunately, only has shows on weekends, which is when the museum appears to be busiest.

doesn't take forever to go through here, as much or as little as you make it, depending on how much you read. Tons of artifacts. I've been going for over 40 years. It's clean and spacious. Great learning place for all..Put the iPads away and take the kids here!

We took kids walking around campus before game. They thought it was neat and now they want to go there. It has changed some since I was living here but still great atmosphere.

This natural history museum has the usual assortment of taxidermied animals and minerals from various places, but it is especially interesting to me because it has so many fossils from Nebraska. BIG fossils. It's hard to imagine the state having once been covered by mammoths, camels, and other exotic beasts, but there they are. We didn't have the time to... More

This is a really neat place to visit with children. The displays grab the attention of both young and old. Avoid game days because there will be no available parking. I haven't been here for a while but I thought it was a place I should review. You visit at you own place so you can run through of spend... More

I have loved visiting this museum since my childhood because I love learning about paleontology, mineralogy, and geology. I also have Native American ancestry, so the Native American clothing and lifestyle exhibits fascinated me. I feel that I always learn something new about dinosaurs and other ancient life, and seeing the rocks and minerals helped me appreciate the work that... More

It is very hard to find your way into the campus and locate a parking spot (a few are reserved for museum visitors), and the streets are very rough in the museum area. However, it is well worth the effort, since the displays of skeletons, and their presentation is very rewarding. The staff is friendly and helpful when you have... More

We have been here for school and as a family, and the kids find something new each time. Always a great tie in to what they are learning in school.
