Has it been updated in the last 30 years, probably very little. Could the buildings use some repairs, yes. Have I ever seen anything like it, no. One of the most amazing collections of Americana you will ever find.

Stumbled on this place while traveling from Salina, Kansas to Kearney, Nebraska for the Total Solar Eclipse on 21 August 2017. The $14.25 was well worth it. We probably spent two hours here and could have spent many more hours as the place is large.

First impressions can be so lasting. And unfortunately a negative impression can blur the rest of the visit. Stayed at the RV park for one night and could not believe they did not have a restroom. They initially said it was being remodeled and when...More

We came to pioneer village to be immersed in the history of the Nebraska prairie and the pioneer experience. The village has a big collection of cars, from antique through the 80's. Also a good display of how people lived thru the centuries. There's a...More

There is a tremendous amount of history at Pioneer Village. Most of the vehicles are crammed so closely together that it's hard to get a good look or pictures. Most of the vehicles are what you'd expect to see at most museums, nothing too rare...More

Thousands of artifacts in this huge collection! I got to a lot of museums from tiny towns to the Smithsonian and I saw things I've never seen. I loved the progression of kitchens & bedrooms from 1830-1980. My husband loved the plane engines. Many reviews...More

Hard to answer. If you were really in to history and Americana and were going to read EVERY sign - then two days. I think 6 hours at the most would suffice for most people. If you are in a group it seems really unlikely... More
