Hidden enough for us to try to find it out. It is also taller than expected and photos make it no justice. The angles are never right. It has a picturesque little ruin on the bottom. Kick starts any creative person's imagination. The paths are still in good condition even if a little slippery when raining. Worth it!

the walk up from Tomich was nice already, passing lovely local houses. The waterfall has quite a spectacular platform right above where the water comes down. Walk back to Tomich via the myterious ruins of Guisachan House. Highly recommendable!

Great place to visit. The track wasn't very strenuous. We walked down to the falls first than did a loop track back to the car park. Our poor hire car was a bit challenged by the dirt road to get there and back.

We took the 45 min trail, not sure if we got a bit lost but the first 3/4 of the trail was easy walking, the last 1/4 was more difficult and definitely not for pushchairs or someone unsteady on their feet, however you can take the 400m path to the falls instead which is much easier.

Little way out of Inverness but beautiful drive. We managed the short walk to the falls with 3 children ages 3-9. So worth it. An amazing hidden treasure.

Never thought I'd see seen waterfall as amazing as this in Scotland. Well worth the visit. Paths to the viewpoints are steep in places but the route is easy to follow.

We visited Plodda Falls during October. The falls are situated within a large wooded area and the location is remote. There are several walks and trails and each one will allow you to view the falls from a different level. There is a viewing platform near the top but to really appreciate the falls you need to see them from... More

This is a beautiful waterfall in a very idyllic location, I recommend doing the full walk at dog falls and just doing the short walk at plodda falls.

I have given this a top rating and please believe me, it really deserves it, the views are amazing! However, 1 tiny point is the road in, 2 miles of massive potholes that you shouldn't drive more than 10 miles an hour, I actually would suggest 3-4. The waterfall is really special and deserves all top ratings but I must... More
