Gloomy skies and rain never stopped us from supporting our neighbours and seeing our beloved rodeo! Beautiful small town charm of the 104th Falkland Rodeo definitely is a marvel! Great local food trucks , cold beers and cheering on some of the best in the circuit! 🏆🤠🍺🍔🐮

Great country hospitality, good food and awesome rodeo! One of the best we’ve been to in Canada! 🇨🇦 🐎🐂

This small town hosts this annual event known as "Canada's Oldest Stampede". As we looked for and finally located the geocache cleverly hidden in the rodeo grounds, we were treated to the sites of this huge attraction without anybody else around. We saw the correls, barns and pens that hold the animals used during the rodeo. As we walked through the area, I found it easy to imagine all the sights, sounds and smells of rodeo. Food and fun are the goals of this yearly event. Across the field, camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis with no amenities or campfires allowed. The Gillis Family Memorial Park is also located within the rodeo grounds.

Excellent well planned event.
Just wish they would not restrict drinking to the beer garden area.

First time camping in field across from the rodeo grounds. Well managed and friendly hosts. Great job.

Great family event. Rodeo at its best. We have been attending for ten years and enjoy everything from the pancake breakfast run by the Sunday Moroners to the Stampede Dance. Good to see a lot of the older citizens year after year.

We were visiting friends in Kelowna over the long weekend in May. They thought we might enjoy going to the Falkland Stampede. It is a nice drive from Kelowna with amazing picturesque scenery. Very enjoyable. 2017 was the 99th annual Stampede. It is one of the oldest Stampedes in Canada starting in 1919 and is still going strong. The 3 day Stampede is a smaller one but is packed full of great Stampede entertainment. We went on the Saturday and enjoyed every minute. Great vendors, delicious food, great Stampede facility and run ever so well! Highly skilled competitors from Canada and around the world. We all had a great day and would go back for sure! If you are in the area next year be sure to check it out. The 100th edition is bound to be a fantastic event! Good luck to all the organizers and volunteers for the 100th! And thanks again for a great time in 2017!
