8 Day Adventure Tour in Costa Rica

1 review
8 days and 7 nights all included
This is the most epic adventure and wildlife tour in Costa Rica. Through this journey you will discover the jungles of Osa peninsula and find the animals of Corcovado national park. Likewise you will walk through canyons of rivers, find hidden waterfalls and navigate through rivers full of wildlife. You will even, visit an island in the pacific ocean where dolphins and whales jump out on the surface to celebrate life. Furthermore, you will jump inside those waters and discover an underwater realm full colors, fishes, turtles and rays.
At some point of the journey you will share with indigenous and locals. Later on, you will be climbing mountains and walk beyond the clouds in the search of the land of the roaring jaguar. Then your guide will make the way with machetes until you find a point where you can see the pacific and atlantic ocean at once.

This could have been good but today there were few birds to be seen. We paid our 5$ to sit in a ‘special place’ but there was little to see. Disappointing.

We were treated during a birding tour in Costa Rica to a wonderful lunch at Get Your Birds! in Ujarras - as a group, we were all astonished at the concept of sitting at a long bench, eating a well prepared and delicious lunch, and having birds fly in to the gardens and feeders just feet away from where we sat. The Orchid gardens are lovely as well - I, for one could have spent the whole afternoon there! Would love to go back some day.

On March 5th, I was lucky enough to visit Get Your Birds! Ujarras. The location is very beautiful and birds abound. They have a nice, but small observation deck that is covered to keep you out of heat and sun (or rain). They provided a traditional Costa Rica breakfast of gallo pinto. It was yummy for this traveler. The site contact was super friendly as well. All and all, a wonderful trip and highly recommend them for your visit.

A viewing platform with chairs and a counter to lean your elbows on while watching exotic birds come to feeders--all under the guidance of local expert naturalists who help you identify dozens of species. Oh, and then there's that delicious traditional food served by the wonderful women at El Cas Restaurant, on whose property the viewing platform sits. What more could you want?
