I visited this place not knowing what to expect. It is located in an old building off the Main Street. It had period items from the history of Beatty and Rhyolite. It was somewhat put together from possible donations. I liked it!
Small museum, with lots of interesting household memorabilia. It's a mix of historical information about Beatty, and more generic displays of old-time appliances / electronics / equipment.
Hours are very limited, but you could hike Death Valley in the AM and stop in the museum...More
We enjoyed this small museum that features information on the old days when gold miners ruled this area. Friendly staff that can direct you to other interesting things to see in the surrounding mountains.
