I went with a couple of history loving teens who are quite knowledgable about the old west. They loved the historic firearm exhibit. I found learning about the history of the state, especially mining and minting very worthwhile. Admission was only eight dollars for adults...More

Excellent museum. We spent two hours there and only took in about half of it. Will be back to view the rest.

We really enjoyed this museum. It gave a great overview of the history of Nevada, with everything from gold mining to the casinos and everything in between. The price was reasonable, the staff welcoming, the facilities clean and great access.

Interesting exhibits, artifacts and knowledge shared from Nevadan history covering from near the present day all the way back to the pre-historic era. Great value and plenty to see for all the family with a replica ghost town to amuse the younger family members

I went to this museum with my wife and friends and was greatly surprised at how good it is. There is a mock up of a real gold/silver mine, with a tunnel system and displays for about 300 feet. Very well done. There is also...More
