The vintage houses were fantastic, loved the history of old Vegas and Hoover dam, plenty to see! $2 entrance fee and great gift shop, certainly worth the drive!

This museum tells the history of Las Vegas and Clark County in various ways. There are a lot of exhibits to explore, both indoors and outdoors. You should start at the indoor exhibit hall, which has exhibits on the Ancestral Pueblo people in Nevada and the history of gaming. Outdoors, we walked a trail that led us to a ghost town. One of the highlights of the museum was a street full of historic houses that have been moved here from other parts of Las Vegas. The houses were decorated for Halloween when we visited. You can easily spend several hours here.

We really enjoyed the visit to the museum. Had a really nice street of historic homes, a fun walk through outdoor exhibit of old buildings and farm tools and a little indoor exhibit packed with lots of items. Well worth the $2 admission and then some for an hour or so. Very clean and well kept.

We visited here on March 14,2022 at about 3 pm. It cost us $2 total to enter, as we are seniors. You park and enter a very nice main building which houses restrooms, a small gift shop and a wonderful indoor exhibit called "Obsolete". This exhibit changes seasonally and currently focuses on implements and items no longer used, plus they also have local historical sections and a great Indian homage.
Outside, we walked a nature path and saw many birds but no lizards, sigh, as we heard they love to bask on the stones.
There is a whole town of old houses and businesses situated on a street! Inside each are period decor, items and historical info. We also visited the church, set up for a simulated wedding. I sat outside for a spell, as my husband read through several photo albums. I saw rabbits and hummingbirds. We walked a bit more, went into the railroad exhibits and were amazed that it was already almost 4:30 closing time. This museum is terrific and a true bargain at a time where costs are skyrocketing for everyone. The staff were very pleasant and informative. My husband had been here about 7 or 8 years ago and was amazed to see housing so built up nearby the complex's 30 acres. Please visit this museum! The only issue I had was two women ignoring the antics of their teenaged sons, who were locking the doors, touching items and smacking walls in the building, all without adult intervention. C'mon, people. Respect where you are for the sake of others and watch your kids.

We visited this museum thinking we'd spend a couple of hours there, but spent twice as long as that! It was a wonderful place to go and for the price ($3 for one adult and one "senior") it was the best deal around! We loved wandering through the houses and walking the trails through the desert area and the ghost town. Highly recommend for anyone who is interested in a little history of the area and the chance to imagine the way things used to be.

Wow! I think this is the best $2 (per person) we spent on a LV tour/ attraction. So much history and loved the hands-on walk throughs. As an fyi, some of the homes have stinky sewer smells to them so be sure to mask up.

The Clark County Museum in Henderson is a nice, quiet, relaxed little museum that offers a glimpse of old Las Vegas. Easy to walk through and read the interesting facts and history. A good getaway from the busy downtown and strip. Easy to get to and lots of free parking.

Museum is certainly worth a visit for anyone interested in history and learning about the area. The exhibits in the museum are very well done. The structures on site that are open to tour are also interesting. Staff was friendly and helpful. We visited during extreme heat; all structures are air conditioned. Depending on your interest level, allow at least 1-2 hours, maybe 3 to see everything; time may vary due to length of time you spend in the outside structures.

A nice, small, compact museum that has a very nominal entrance fee. Buildings from the surrounding area were moved there to create a small village. We spent a couple hours walking through the building and inside museum.
