After seeing "The Beard of Knowledge" on Pawn Stars, I thought a visit to the Clark County Heritage Museum would be great. We stopped in on our way to Pahrump, NV and arrived about 2 pm. The admission is very reasonable, $2 for adults, $1...More

The houses behind the museum were the highlight for us. Like walking into the past. And as a self guided tour, you can take as little or as much time as you like.

I've always loved this wonderful museum. It's more like a huge park with full scale historical houses decorated and preserved in their era. Wonderful, inexpensive way to spend a late morning or early afternoon. I love to take company to see this when they visit....More

I did a photo shoot there. Lots of nostalgia. Vintage buildings and a vintage locomotive. A church and a hardware store.

We went there originally to see the October 1 memorial, and ended up spending the day tracing the history of Las Vegas from the Stone Age, to gambling, to present time. There are many hands on areas throughout, and you can walk down a street...More

We were very impressed and surprised at both of the price $2 and the variety and interesting exhibits at the museum. The older original houses and businesses they have moved into the area to show what old Las Vegas was like was very nice. They...More

The price when I went was $1 for seniors and $2 for other adults. This is the biggest bargain in Nevada. The museum has history exhibits from Indians to today concerning the area. Outside there is a small Mohave desert garden . There are over...More

Clark County has relocated homes from Early Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City and Goldfield to Heritage St on the museum grounds and furnished them with vintage furniture and decor. A nice presentation of their history and original occupants bring them to life. Also a wedding...More

So neat at Christmastime. The older homes are all decorated with lights outside and trees inside. There was even cookies, hot chocolate and crafts for the kids. Also, the high school choir was there caroling!

I went here a couple of years ago while at a tech conference. Some kids were there on a field trip. It's quite groovy, 6 or seven homes to tour with manikins depicting life in Nevada thru the decades. They have some you-tube videos to...More

Price to get in to Clark County Heritage Museum is only $2 pp when we were there. Is quite a ways out of town so probably would need a rental car - if don't want rental car for whole time, perhaps ask at your hotel to see... More
