About
Located in downtown Las Vegas, this pedestrian mall spreads over five blocks along Fremont Street. Home to many casinos and hotels—including Golden Gate Hotel and Casino and Binion’s Gambling Hall and Hotel—it's also known for jaw-dropping shows and fun activities, from free concerts to the 12-story SlotZilla Zipline. Come just before evening to catch Viva Vision, a light and sound show that takes place on the world’s largest video screen—an LED canopy that spans 130,000 square feet. To make sure you don't miss any of the highlights, there's a variety of day and night walking tours available. – Tripadvisor

You don't have to spend money to have a good time
All we did was walk the street up and back. Very colourful, well patrolled and rather crowded if you're still wearing masks. But the street is lit up brighter than a Christmas tree. There is lively music up and down the street and if only stopping to watch for a song or two, it is well worth it. Many lively characters too. We didn't go on the zipline, so unsure of the cost. The smell of marjiuna is a little over powering at times. People were generally respectful of each other, having a good time. Drinks a plenty and casinos everywhere, it was a fun experience. We parked in a nearby parking station for USD $5.00

    Visit to Fremont Street Experience
My wife and I visited Fremont Street on our Las Vegas vacation and enjoyed it…for the most part. We stopped by the Golden Nugget and Four Queens casinos to eat and try are luck. Both were great and we enjoyed the experience. Walking Fremont Street was an experience. There are a lot of cool things to see along the way with many of the entertainers performing. Live music, live vibe and of course the zip line and light show are neat. I would not bring my children to this experience. Some of the entertainment was definitely adult oriented and not kid friendly. There were a number of people staggering around obviously highly drunk or on something. Sleezy to some degree. Overall, we enjoyed a few hours downtown. It’s worth the taxi ride from the strip.

    Amazing Freemont Time.
Amazing, lots to do with live music, food and drink. Felt very safe street performers all have their own allocated areas so no one persists with there pitch. Be ready to have your eyes open with a few risky outfits - just feel ok saying no thanks to anyone. Even we returned on the bus late at night felt very safe

    Nearly 2000’ of Free Fun
The pedestrian only street offers a lot to see and enjoy. There are many street performers doing their acts (drums, balancing, costumed characters, dancers and more). The performers seem to be restricted to circles painted on the pavement. There are also more formal music performers on large stages. The overhead light show on the canopy is visually interesting. There are plenty of drink and food options.

The Lights are amazing. Never saw Anything as Beautiful as that. Just Loved It. Can't wait to go back. We will definitely be visiting Vegas again this Year. We wished it was not so Far from the main Hotels and Resorts that's on the strip.

    Definitely worth a visit!
Fremont Street is definitely worth a visit if you're in Las Vegas. It's got a very different vibe (better) compared to the Strip. There are plenty of places to eat, drink, and listen to music with 3 or 4 live bands playing. The light show was awesome and the soundtrack changed every hour. Leave the kids and pets at home though. It gets more and more "interesting" as the night goes on!

    Old Vegas
A must see if traveling to Vegas. Lots of activity with street shows during the day and at night. All sorts of shops and casinos, of course. Nice to see the older side of Vegas. Lots of buskers.

    Amazingly beautiful 🤩
It was a nice 4th of July memorabilia. Everyone’s were dancing to the music with the dancing lights above us. That night was amazing and the light and music shows features and honors the US Independence Day. Featuring the US flag and the 50 stars representing the states. The light shows are continuously playing nightly with different line up features every hour from 6pm to 2 am. So spectacular everyone must see.

    Best part of Vegas
So much fun! I wish I’d spent more time there! Been to Vegas 5 times and this was the first time I was heading of this gem! Absolutely great music and vibe is unmatched. Lots of food, casino and music/performance options. Next time I’m ditching the strip 100%

    Marijuana smell
Been here twice once last year and once this year but I hadn’t left a review. Overall it’s pretty cool to see the overhead screen and the show that they put on there, some good shows by the performers in the little circles, and great live music. The downside is there are alot of drifters in the area and even though they try to keep it clean it’s still filled with trash in certain spots and if you’re not a fan of marijuana this isn’t the place for you as it smells like you’re in a smoke room passing a J.

If you like loud places, strange sights, and weird smells..this is the place for you. The ceiling lights are pretty and there are lots of places to eat and shop. Parking ended up being a pain because to get your card validated, you had to either be a guest of some hotels, eat there, or gamble. It sure is an experience. Personally not one for us, but now I can say I’ve been there.

Lots to see and do here. Worth the taxi ride from the strip. LED show and music overhead can hold one’s attention for quite awhile. There’s lots of interesting characters down here. I don’t recommend taking young children here, there’s a few things going on that are not child appropriate.

It was relatively far away from most of the strip and discovered that it is one of the most dazzling places in Las Vegas, and the shows and the people are quite cheerful. Hence, never drop it. There is also a zip line activity there.

What fun place to go! Lots of individuals performing at assigned locations. The overhead videos are amazing to watch. Talented musical acts perform on a stage. Food, drinks, and fun!

Live "music" was awful but loud, competing against each other and making it impossible to talk. The stink of cheap weed was also impossible to ignore. The hourly light show was uninspired & droll compared to previous visits. not repeat.

Walking through the experience was not too bad except for the smoking people. The air was filled with the aroma of tobacco and other unpleasant smells. The area gets crowded at night and there is no place to stop and rest as you walk from one end of the experience to the other end. This is not a good place for children at night because of some of the scantily dressed women and men.

My husband and I go every year in March for our anniversary. this year my daughter came with since her birthday is around the same time. We made a fun trip out of it. I highly recommend Fremont street. You have live concerts every night for free, fun entertainment, cool shops and Slotzilla. There are so many fun things to do at little to no cost on and around Fremont Street. we only go to the strip one of the days because there is so much more to do.

Fremont Street Experience is always a great time. I loved the canopy with Shikra and her music. The street performers are wonderful and we had so much fun.

We went to see where it all began. Its awkward to get to from the main strip. Fremont Street is sadly disappointing, run down, grubby, sleazy. It's another side of Las Vegas, one we would have been pleased to miss.

Visited Freemont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas in May 2024. One of the most exciting things about the Freemont Street Experience was undoubtedly the vibrant atmosphere and multitude of entertainment options that piqued my curiosity.  The amazing LED light show above the entire two blocks was dazzling.  The many music performances, street performers, and exciting shops and restaurants made for a fabulous time during our warm May evening.  There was always something new to discover, and the excitement of the crowds created an unforgettable experience.  I also experienced the 11-story zipline ride on the iconic SlotZilla.
