Play where Tiger Woods won his first tournament, and the "RAT PACK" played and entertained. When you play golf at Las Vegas National Golf Club, you will forget you are in the desert. This exquisite championship golf course, conveniently located only 5 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, is the former host of the PGA Tour’s Tournament of Champions, Sahara Invitational and the Las Vegas Invitational. Classic in design, this course combines rolling fairways, glistening lakes and greens well protected by palm, pine and olive trees. Just after completion in 1961, The National, then called the Stardust Country Club, hosted its first professional golf event, the LPGA Championship. From that date forward history was made. The layout, designed by Bert Stamps, is traditional and is a challenge for the best of players. The National has become a landmark over the last 50 years. It was host to the movie “Casino”, starring Robert DeNiro, Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci. Use a Cart, GolfBoard, or Scooter.

Las Vegas National has a lot of history. There are many holes that tell you the history of who in Vegas history lived there. The Greens are in great shape. The fairways were thick and well mowed. There were many bald spots in the ruff....More

This was a nice course to play after a winter of little play. It is somewhat tired with a group of fascinating 1950 style homes abutting the course. The fairways were in pretty good shape and I was glad I played an easy course for my...More

Great golf course with history. Tiger Woods won his first PGS title here. It is the course where in the movie "Casino", they landed a small plane on fairway #1. The house Robert Dinero lived in is between fairways 1 & 2. You can walk...More

During an annual get-together of old Navy buddies, we scheduled a foursome at this, the first course in Vegas (I think) and were not disappointed. With a Military rate of only $45, the course quality and service would be expected at a course charging 3...More

The golf club is very close to all the hotels on the strip. The fairway is surrounded by houses; some old and some relatively new. The fairways and green are well maintained, however, the pigeons are a problem. My group hit two of them during...More

We checked in for our 1200pm tee time. After the 7th hole, three slow golfers took us until 3:20pm to reach the 12th hole. We even told the golf ranger about the very slow pace. The ranger did nothing about the issue. The ranger claims...More
