Despite the chill, we didn't feel uncomfortable at all. It's an ideal spot for a group outing and taking photos. Jake, the bartender, added a fun touch to our visit. We also appreciated the option to get professional pictures for $8 each, a welcomed break from our usual selfie-filled trip. A bit pricey, but good for a one time experience. We were able to bring our kids in with us and they thought it was so neat! Drinks were great, staff friendly and not over crowded either. She had drinks made from and off the menu. This introduced me,my husband and friends to Scooby snax. It was delicious there were some people there and on the tables we're games. It was super fun talking to everyone else inside and playing the games and dancing and just having a good time. EVERYTHING is made from ice. It's amazing to look at everything. The parkas and gloves certainly helped. After being out in the 105 heat, this was definitely a welcome change. If you are looking for something to do in Vegas because you've done it all then go for it... otherwise skip it as it is silly, pricey and boring. I thought it was a waste of money. First there is no way it is Minus 5 degrees, you couldn't even see your breathe and it wasn't that cold (we had flip flops on). The room is a small ice room, enough seating/standing for 15 plus people. Nothing to do but sit/stand, take a couple of pictures. You have to stand in line at bar to get the drinks, comes in a frozen shot glass sized cup. Couldn't taste any alcohol. We bought the admission only based on reviews, recommend that. At their VIP price with 2 drinks and faux coat, completely not worth it.... get the admission and buy one drink, that is all you'll need as you'll be out of there that fast, lasted about 20 minutes then bored and left.

I am sorry but the Ice Bar at the Mandalay Bay is not as extravagant as the pictures. The packages are bogus, because they know it’s cold in there but to receive a hat to you have to pay $75 per person. All day bye!! Waste of money.

I have been wanting to come here for years! I finally got to go about a week ago and do the full experience! This place is so cool, and they change it every 1 to 3 years inside so even if you have done it before I encourage you to come back and do it again because it changes! I know I will definitely be back! Me and my friends did the full package, so we even got panda hats which were so cute! I also got the upgrade to the cheetah jacket instead of the regular parka which worked really well for the pictures inside! So once you go inside the whole place is made of ice. Where you sit, the walls, the bar, even the cups that you drink your cocktails out of are made of ice! What an amazing experience! Obviously the ambience is amazing, the customer service was hands-down amazing as well and so much fun! Even though it was -5° inside, I was freezing, but I had such an amazing time, the bartender was shirtless under his jacket and apparently he was from Minnesota so -5° didn’t bother him which I thought was hilarious! A dance party even broke out to stay warm which was so much fun. The cocktails were great! We had Ice in Da Coconut, frosted berries, arctic sunsets, and many more. They also have this thing where you try four different sorbets and you guess the flavor. I was not a fan of these as they tasted like vegetable ice cream‘s. I don’t know how else to describe it. I would not try these. But the cocktails were amazing, have as many as possible! They even have this frozen statue that you can take shots out of! And if you are a germaphobe like me do not worry they do it in a way that is clean and with new straws! So much fun! I cannot wait to go back again!

This by far is the best thing in Las Vegas on a 113° day. The whole entire club is made out of ice including the cups, seats and tables. Mandatory online ticket sale for reservations is Necessary. When you get there you can pick up your coat or your fur depending on how you made the reservation. There is an igloo to take pics in. All the booths are like reserved seating style but they are not reserved. All is open for everyone including kids. So it’s a bar that also serves non alcoholic beverages.

The Icebar is a novelty and to make the most of it, know what to expect. The bar is located in a shopping mall area up the escalator at the Mandalay Bay hotel in Vegas. It is very small--a tiny foyer, main room with the ice bar (no chairs), and small side room with a table and seating for maybe six or eight. The space holds a modest number of people. The ice decor has themes (Alice in Wonderland and Palm Springs in this case), all decorated in a kitschy, fun style. I liked having my drink from a glass made of ice. The staff and bartender are very welcoming and friendly, which I appreciated. Price for a ticket was $24 and drinks ran $5 or so. Ticket is good for two hours, though you probably won't stay that long. This is the kind of place that would be fun to go for a drink with a few friends when you want to try something different. If you are expecting an upscale place with sophisticated decor and drink menu, this isn't it. If you want a casual experience for drinks in a novel setting with a few friends, this works. A bit expensive for what you get, though I was curious and am glad I tried this once.

Everyone here was extremely friendly. Thry came in and took complimentary photos that you can download from their website. Everything except the ceiling and floor were made of ice. The design is very festive and set up for great selfies

We did not do the Ice Experience that 63 degree day in Vegas but we were thirty and wanted to try one of the famous “yard” style drinks sin city is known for. They add shots for a extra charge that takes a lot of the sweetness out and increase the potency.
My son had a 70 ounce with 8 shots added and I had a 50 ounce with 5 shots added. The original price is hefty but you get about 25% off when you refill on future purchases.
Great drink, Courteous staff and more alcohol than Fat Tuesdays yard. I would recommend for the “yard or more” experience.

On the outside this place seems cheesy but it's a fun way to kill an hour and get some fun pictures. It's cold but not brutally cold where you can't enjoy yourself. I liked the touch that the glass I used for my drink was made out of ice.

It was a fun experience but one I wouldn’t do again. Yes it’s Vegas. Yes everything is $$$$$, but this is wildly overpriced for what you get (which for me and three kids is a couple of very weak drinks and some juice slushees in cool ice cups). Kids got to keep their hats which was cool, but for Close to $200 I and kicking myself for not listening to other reviewers. Suppose some things you just have to learn on your own.

What's the difference between (A) the minus5 ICEBAR at Mandalay Bay (B) the minus5 ICEBAR at the Venetian, and (C) the minus5 ICEBAR at The LINQ Promenade? Is there anything special about each one? Are they all exactly the same, ice brick for ice brick?

Right now there is a Groupon for two 50oz frozen drinks for $32.50. But these are sold outside of the actual frozen bar. These are sold in the lobby area of minus 5. And this is for the minus 5 in Mandalay Bay. Also there are time share solicitors (body snatchers) all over the strip that have cards I'm thier pockets for a free drink for the Mandalay Bay Minus 5. I'm sure if u ask nicely and offer them a hug... They'll gladly give you one without having to go through a time share presentation. ;)

I bought a package in Groupon for $25.00 for two people plus two drinks and a picture. So look on groupon first. The actual price I'm not sure I do know I saved quite a bit 😀

There is no food and no reason to subject yourself to this at any cost! take a cheap flight to NY during winter you will have more value for $$ and cheaper drinks..
