My fiancee and aren't avid hikers but we were out in the area that day and wanted to do a moderate hike of a canyon with great views along the way. We chose this one for it's length and difficulty. We were both able to get through the hike pretty easily, but it was a cooler day (high of about... More

This is a solid hike that most should be able to accomplish. For most of the hike, it's a straight walk through canyons with gravel paths. The last 1/4 - 1/2 mile consists of some steep ascents and descents but they are relatively short. Make sure you bring water shoes or wear footwear that you don't mind getting wet. Also... More

This is fun little trail that walks you through slot canyons. The trail is mostly on gravel, with some sand along the Colorado River. Please beware that the trail is not really a loop..The hot springs sit in between the two trails, so whichever side you go in, you'll need to come back the same way you hiked in, unless... More

I have been hiking to these hot springs since I was 10 years old. This trail is an easier hike that the trail to another set of hot springs on the Nevada side of the Colorado River, but it is a longer hike. Going in is easier of course than coming out, but the hike is wonderful and you can... More

Every time we come here, we have such a wonderful time. The weather was awesome and not too hot. So refreshing and getting in touch with yourself.

For visitors to the area, this trail is not in Las Vegas! Rather it's in Arizona, a short ride over the dam bridge south of Boulder City. For some, the most difficult part of this excursion will be accessing the parking lot. So follow 93 south past the Lake Mead Visitor Center and then over the bridge into Arizona. Drop... More

Well a few families camped there Christmas Eve so that should tell you how much fun it is. Bring a camera to catch the light reflecting up on the rock spires that you see looking up from the narrow slot trail that you will be in.

Arizona Hot Springs is “cool” place to visit, whether it be at the end of a 3 mile hike down to the river from The White Rock Canyon trail-head on Hwy 93, or by arriving by way of the river and hiking about half a mile up the next canyon downstream from White Rock Canyon. You know you are there... More

This hike is quite amazing. Its not just walking down to the colo river from hwy 93. Its the wash area trail with beautiful rocks, lizards and birds. Then for the finale, you get a hot soak in the springs. Remember: dont submerge your head due to the bugs that could make you sick. I just got my legs wet... More
