Royal Links was built to honor the rich history and tradition of the game...

Royal Links was built to honor the rich history and tradition of the game of golf. Designed by Dye International, this links-style course features holes inspired by eleven different British Open rotation courses, including the Road Hole and Hell Bunker from the Old Course at St. Andrews and the Postage Stamp from Royal Troon. Other courses in the loop include Carnoustie, Turnberry, Royal Liverpool, Prestwick, Royal Lytham, Muirfield and Royal Birkdale.Monuments were erected at various locations throughout the golf course indicating the spots where great moments in British Open history took place. A Champions Wall stands near the all-turf practice range honoring American champions of the British Open.

Golfers may choose to engage the services of a professional forecaddie adding to the "Scottish" experience. These forecaddies are knowledgeable about the history of each hole, as well the location of the 108 pot bunkers, some of which are hidden. Walking caddies are also available and are required for those who choose to walk.

Royal Links was recognized as the "Best Course in Las Vegas" in the 2006 Review Journal "Best Of Vegas" poll and one of "America's BEST Courses" by GolfWeek. Located less than 20 short minutes from the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, the castle-style clubhouse hosts a nationally recognized golf shop, which was ranked as one of "American's Best 100 Golf Shops" in 2004 & 2005 by GolfWorld Business. It is stocked with name brand apparel, equipment, quality art and collectables. The shop also offer rentals of the Callaway X2 HOT clubs and FootJoy shoes.

The clubhouse is also home to Stymie's Pub, an authentic re-creation of a British pub, serving traditional fare like fish and chips, bangers, as well as breakfasts, salads and sandwiches. An on-course beverage cart service is also available. An English style call box is available at the 9th tee, providing golfers the opportunity to order lunch as they make the turn, or to have the meal delivered to them on the course.

Adding some gaming excitement to the round, Royal Links offers a "Beat The Pro" challenge for all golfers who wish to test their skill against course personnel on a Par 3 "closest to the hole" contest for merchandise credit in the golf shop. Royal Links Golf Club is also features the ParMates program, a female caddy service that was designed to add a unique extra experience to your round of golf.

Fantastic adventure.

This is a pretty hard course for a high handicap golfer. One has to stay on the fairway and try to avoid the pot bunkers. Very little room for error. The replica hole concept was kind of distracting to me, to be honest. I need to be a better player before i come back here

Although it is still early in the season, this course was great. I'm not sure I would have played the road hole in par if I had to hit over the hotel, but it was still a lot of fun. Well worth a try if you are in town for a few days.

It takes about 35 minutes from the strip but definitely worth the uber ride which was a reasonable $15. The course is just as advertised. 18 replica holes from British Open courses. As one can imagine it's impossible to replicate Great Britain in the desert but it was more than reasonably close. Good conditions made the $100 fees well worth... More

Royal Links provides access to some of the most scenic and challenging holes that you hear about during the British Open. Although located outside Las Vegas, you feel that you're on an original links course as you face fairway and greenside pot bunkers and challenging roughs. Our caddy enhanced our experience by pointing out preferred approaches and helping us read... More

I like this course. Fairways are bermuda and painted green during Winter to maintain the effect. Greens were fast and the best seen thus far this Winter in Vegas. new management is keeping the course up for now...I worry about that with this course long run; not a lot of players...but I'll keep coming back. Snack bar has great food... More

When you drive up the clubhouse screams links style golf, with the castle facade and the claret jug! The course lays out great and plays well, always with a view of the strip in the background. The staff couldn't be friendlier!

This course should only charge maximum of 80$ to play there course as it's high season down in Vegas and the place is in terrible shape, I can see why the tee sheet was basically empty when I went, greens rolled aright I guess but most of the rough is littered with garbage so not sure what's going on there,... We choose this golf course to play in Las Vegas due to its quirkiness of holes, each a different golf course from around the world. When in Vegas, whacky and quirky is a must. The drive in is pleasant and the cute Castle style clubhouse is quirky with a claret jug statue on the roundabout. With a quick easy bag... More

I played Royal Links at 7am on Nov 1st. This is a seriously fun track. Lots of variety in holes and design, but not really a true links course in the Scottish sense. I love to play close to the ground on a links course, and that really was not possible on my visit. This winter season the only overseeding... More

Not sure I would pay, >$150, but had a Golfnow for $112, and well worth that. They were reseeded the Gold Tees, and moved the Gold up (eshort), or back (LONG!), so a few holes we played were really long. Course in excellent shape, staff friendly. Only drawback were beer cart prices ($5.50 for a Bud Light. Really?)
