Take precautions walking and looking at people, lights, music, noise, models, etc. It's a must go once during your stay.

Think spring break in your 20s. Strange people, stale beer and urine smell, and absolutely nothing to see or do. A few sleazy bars and restaurants. Nasty!!

Downtown is the place to be! Any night of the week you can have a good time down here, plenty of places to gamble, eat, and be merry.

Drugs, prostitutes, booze, run down and filthy. Taken over by the degenerates. Inside the Golden Nugget was nice but whoa!!! outside its a nightmare!! Every bad element imaginable. Never going there again.

So there is definitely people watching to do on Fremont Street. I found the slots to be more generous and the $8.99 prime rib dinner advertised for Tony Roma's...not bad, not bad at all!

The street performers are entertaining, some are very talented and some are there for shock value and exhibibtion. There are some good restaurants and attractions from The Heart Attack Grill to Mickey Finns

This is the closest you can come to "old Las Vegas". Eats are cheap. Cheap drins and lots of fun. Take the duece bus and travel back in time.
