Love Downtown

It is pretty different from the Strip, but different in a good way. I like the old school charm of downtown.

LOTS of inappropriate people dressed in almost nothing, both male and female. Thought it might be nice to take the kiddos to see the light show. Good thing I went alone to check it out first.

Had fun there it had good food, live music shows, zip line and busy street. It was lively relaxing and had nice time being there after 3 days at 'The Strip' and all crazy stuff.

A trip to Las Vegas has to include a visit downtown. Although interesting to see the good, the bad and the ugly you can find a few casinos that give a pretty good payout and have some pretty good deals on food. Go downtown enjoy.

Few people goes out from Strip and go to Downtown, but it is very beautiful, you get lower prices and bets on the cassinos and you also have the opportunity to go the HEART ATTACK, very good and different hamburger place.

Fremont Street does have some very good food and attractions but there is a definite seedy side to it also.. Try to see it in the daytime and Night can be alittle crazy...Be sure to stay ON the main streets with the tourist stay..

We went to a selected area of downtown to see the glitz and glamor. It is really full of energy and a fun place to see. Go to a show while you visit.

Take the Deuce bus downtown and see the light show which is a must see at least once in Vegas. Smaller and less impressive casinos but there is not that much walking from casino to casino as there is on the strip. Prices are lower than on the strip.

Its a real step back in time, but also very modern, its a bit slower than the strip but equally as busy with the amount of things going on, and some nights may even be more alive than the strip itself. There is always bands playing at each end of the Street, and the verandah above that plays music and... More
