The welcome sign is so associated with Vegas that it is hard to pass up the chance to get your photo under the sign. We lucked out by going earlier in the morning and there was no one else there. We’ve been told though that you need to be prepared to wait in a line.

They now have fencing and separate parking for the sign. There’s also several signs of different designs throughout the city. This is the original and most popular. Be sure not to go at peak times like 6-9pm.

You got to start your trip in Vegas by taking a picture of the iconic sign of Las Vegas. There is a free small parking lot for the sign. When we got there, a gentleman “ I don’t if he is employed by the city” is offering taking a picture for all those who were lined up for the picture. He doyask for money but he takes tips.…

I mean it's the Vegas sign if the signature stop if you come to Vegas. It's always nice to see sometimes there is a person out there to take pictures for you and they do it for tips when we went at night there was a guy that was actually taking professional pictures and charging $10 but you can always take your own I always stop by the sign when I'm in town kind of like a tradition…

Had to stop and take the ubiquitous photo. Went later in the evening to take a picture. It wasn't crowded. Decided to take a photo to the side straight on. Just be careful crossing the street to walk back to the strip.
