Rock of Ages, the "insanely fun" (Time Out New York) worldwide smash hit musical featuring a raucous mix of 28 eyebrow-scorching tunes, is now rocking nightly at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This hilarious, feel-good love story celebrates the great rock songs of the '80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is", "Here I Go Again", "Don't Stop Believin'", and more. Parental Advisory Rock of Ages is all about having a good time but you should be aware that some of the costumes, dancing and language might not be appropriate for kids under the age of 14 (kids under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult). Remember, if you do bring them, they'll get to see you rockin' like you did back in the day! AGE LIMIT Under 14 Must Be Accompanied By An Adult Under 5 Will Not Be Admitted Into The Theatre

We were expecting a concert but instead it was a musical presentation. It is a comical presentation of trying to make it in rock and what musicians go through. Seats were great and very happy to see it. Show is ending soon.

We saw Rock of Ages at The Rio and it was GREAT. Seeing it before production ends in January was the whole reason for our trip. Well worth going. I would be surprised if anyone who was a teenager in the 80's did not love...More

Did not disappoint! Happy this was on my list to see and certainly recommend to others to see. On top of the show being good, our cocktail server was great aswell. She was on top her game in assuring we were looked after.

If you're a "child" of the 80's this is a fabulous show. So much fun - I would see it again and again!!!

The show is fantastic! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is the seating in so very uncomfortable-we had a booth that seated four. Due to the curve of the seat, it was difficult to get comfortable and we were constantly...More

The 2 leads were outstanding. Most of the other voices were a little too "polished" for rock and roll...missing the hard edge. Some of the choreography was a little feminine for rock and roll. They were close but just a modern west side story

Smaller venue so most seats are pretty good. I sat in the side and was pleased. I would suggest sitting in the middle of the stage in one of the middle rows. If you have cash to spare, there were front row tables right at... More
