the south rim is further away from Las Vegas but the West rim is located on native american territory

The jeeps do have an overhead cover. If you visit in October you should be fine. I have been in Las Vegas in December and only find it mildly cool. Bring a sweater - just in case.

Hi Ashutosh A I don't think it would be very comfortable to take a 10 month old baby on the larger or smaller coaches.
