Visitors come to this canyon in the Nevada desert to view its Indian petroglyphs, some of the first known to man. Truly an amazing site, many of the etchings go 40 to 50 feet below the sand level and are hundreds of years old. A few of the more common ones have been translated but the rest remain a mystery.

This is very close to Laughlin..take the Christmas tree Pass exit. The road is gravel but it is grated well and well maintained. You do not need 4 wheel drive. I just got back from Kenya and this would be considered a highway with truck...More

Prepare for some desert walking. You will see rock writing of people that were here long before we were.

This was a great place to visit. If was easy to find and he views are breath taking. I thought it would be a tough hike with the younger children but the trails were easy to navigate.

We did a helicopter tour of the west rim Grand Canyon. That is also where the sky bridge is located. It's probably about an hour and half from Laughlin nv. It well worth the price and they have them going all day long. Hope... More

The road surface is packed sand. We've seen small motor homes in the parking lot, but not trailers. The parking lot doesn't have room for turnarounds, especially with other vehicles parked there.
