Have stayed at this hotel several times, even if I don't I still come to the Pioneer to play in their casino. Friendly staff, great drink service and love the poker bar on the river.

Being from the UK we don't ever see casinos like this Generally ours are unwelcoming and full of people who want to hurt you! Old school and proud of it. We both loved the place. Waitresses were great (one even had an attempt at copying...More

I liked the Pioneer. It has a cool bar with dancing music in and I felt really relaxed and had a good time at the Roulette table. Played for about 3 hours. Very older casino but its a great spot to hang out.

$25 for the night, one cannot expect luxury. Even at that price, we most likely would not stay again. However, it was pet friendly.

This is very small, old casino. We were here in the morning and there was no service on the floor to even get a cup of coffee. When we inquired no one cared.

Pioneer isn't fancy, but it has its perks: $5 free slot play when you sign up for the player's club, which you can easily triple playing video poker. I hit 4 of kind twice while I was there then enjoyed a beer before heading off...More

We shared our lunch. My waffles came with black berries, light cool whip cream, next dish tri tip on a bun, third up hash brown, egg and biscuit. Food was very good.

We stayed at Harrahs on our first Laughlin trip but walked through every casino in Laughlin.......we LOVED the Pioneer and the atmosphere......old school casino feel with a great bar over looking the river. We will be back!

Stopped in during River Run, played virtual black jack with a couple of bikers and had a great time. The cocktail waitress was always there when our drinks were low and it only took her a minute to return.

I have not stayed in the actual hotel part but have spent lots of time in casino, restaurants etc. It is clean and quaint. I think you will be OK there. It's old but they all are in Laughlin. Probably one of the best for a... More
