Trendy restaurants & clubs along the Truckee River. Nice walk or jog. Had lunch and walked down to the large stage where events are held. Kayaks are available for renting.

Very nice area. Great restaurants. Only downside is after you leave the river walk there is a lot of empty vacate businesses that are home to homeless people.

We have walked this river for years. We always walked east but this year walked west and it was just wonderful. Nice paved walkway with beautiful flowers and art work along the way.

San Antonio and Miami could be challenged with more city and business effort...yes, Reno has done so much to clean itself since the 1980's. It was a rare pleasure to see real water in the river and the revival of Reno. Kudos.

I did not see an no fishing signs. Check on the Nevada Department of Fish and Game to see if it is open and the price for non-resident licenses.
