I had a full day in Reno and not interested in gambling, so I hit TripAdvisor for "things to do". Having just come from Idaho and some very amateur geode and opal hunting, I thought I'd visit the W.M. Keck Earth Science and Mineral Engineering...More

If you are considering attending, then please consider that there's more to UNR than the pleasantly manicured exterior. I was a student here for two years before I finally decided it wasn't worth the aggravation and transferred. Why, you may ask? I was at the...More

Spent most of our time here at the football field watching the game, but did spend a little time around campus. Very clean, great mountain views and friendly people. Not the biggest campus but they do a good job with what they have.

Beautiful campus, very close to the Reno airport. The Argenta Hall is very nice too. The food at the Downunder Café isn't great, especially for vegetarians, but there are several good restaurants close by.

The College is Engineering is ranked in the top 100. It’s a great school and has served me very well. The structural dynamics laboratory is one of the largest and most sophisticated in the world.

We took an Uber to visit the Fleischmann Planetarium. We arrived at 11:00 am and found out that all the shows until 2:00 were geared to children. My advise is to call ahead so your timing will coincide with the ages of your group.
