This was an extremely fun place to be, unfortunately during the time we went there was not much snow, but it did not take away from the fun!

Very good management, slopes and it has everything for everyone. It can be missed easily if you are in Reno but it just a few miles away tucked in the mountain ranges neatly!

This is a local GEM! Just 20-25 minutes from Reno, this IS where the snow is! The base elevation is 8260 feet, and there are lots of runs, with varying options. The views from the top are amazing, and I appreciate the "home town" feel...More

I've never encountered altitude sickness at Mt. Rose or anywhere, and I regularly backpack at altitudes of 8,000-10,000 feet. It won't be an issue.
