This is a treasure that we spend time at whenever we visit the area. They have exhibits that are always interesting, and beautiful. Additionally, the restaurant in the museum is great. When we were there they had a corn chowder that was great. Go to the museum and be surprised at how cool the art scene is in Nevada.

We enjoyed seeing art of contemporary artists. I've seen enough of the older art work although I admire, I want to see shows that are more thought provoking. This is a beautiful museum. There is a cafe also. Give it a try. Reno is not just gambling and shows.

A nice small museum with some unusual and varied collection of art. From contemporary modern art to more traditional art the museum itself is an architectural wonder. Excellent use of light and glass to showcase their exhibits.

My boyfriend and went on the Saturday when the the Museum was free. It was kid friendly. It took about an hour to go thru the museum. It was nice but small.

It was SO LOUD you couldn't talk. Nice enough place, but they need to consider the audience when they have events.

It's a small museum and everything they had was really interesting. An interesting light and fog installation. Shop is good too. I'd join if I lived there! Staff was VERY helpful The view from the roof is wonderful.

An uncluttered display on multi-floors (there is an elevator) of challenging art, some of which one might wonder about the artistic merit and some vintage art (not European classics, however). Two of my favorites are a portrait of a gaudily made-up woman with a cigarette and another of a burly guy in a welding mask and cattle prod. So if... More

The Building and outside sculptures lead you to believe this is going to be a great museum afternoon. It took us under an hour. We passed a LOT of casinos and businesses that should be supporting this place and yet it is underutilized and understocked. The gift shop is the best part of the museum.

Interesting very small art collection on several levels and oddly laid out. The best part is the view from the roof where you can see the entire city.
