It's probably a better idea to just take Amtrak from the Bay Area or Sacramento, over the mountains and into Reno. It's a slow pretty ride. If you want to have fun, just sit in the bar car.

6 months since they canceled our trip. STILL NO REFUND! If there is a chance during the winter for snow do not book with this train. You will get the run around and mat never get your money back!
