There is nothing in the world like the Reno Air Races. They are one of a kind, and attract visitors from all over the world. This event is pretty much dependent on the willingness of a about 6-10 people who through their largesse fund the Unlimited Class Air races. Just hope that this 52 year old event is there next... We had so much fun getting up close to the planes they had on display. We loved that they had them available to look inside as well as at all the detail on some of the war planes. While waiting for the races to take place the announcers will give some back story, tell tales of the old days and... More

Have been to the Reno Air Races three of the past five years. Here are some tips. If you can do without the final day of racing, early in the week visits are super. It costs less to get in and the pit passes are also less. Do not go to this event and not go into the pits. It... More

Up close and personal to many unique aircraft and related exhibits. The races are only half the fun. This will become an annual event.

Good shows, exciting, a lot for kids and grown ups alike to enjoy. parking is another story, but there is a shuttle bus that goes around. Price is a bit above average, but once you're inside you forget all about it. Loud too!

I have been coming to the Reno Air Races annually for the past 7 years, and cannot recommend this event highly enough. At no other airshow have I experienced such a passion for aviation, both among the event coordinators, the pilots, and of course, the fans. The racing is exciting as can be, and the airshow never ceases to impress.... More

The air races are fair; I suppose if this is your hobby you will enjoy a week of aviation entertainment at its finest. To me, if you go once you have seen it all. Be sure to bring comfortable ear protection.

If you're even mildly interested in aircraft, or airshows, or racing, or motorsports, the Reno National Championship Air Races are an absolute MUST!!! This is THE fastest motorsport on earth! We've been going for more than 25 years. You'll see non-stop action from opening to closing every single day. The event is nearly 1 week long. There are multiple race... More

Would you like to see Air Races? Including an Air show by the best like "Thunderbirds"? This is really a treat if you like about flying, airplanes, and airplanes history. Spend the extra money to visit the exhibitors and their planes. I was amazed to find out the different "Class" of airplanes. It was more fun to visit all the... More

Have went to races a number of times, lots of enjoyment. You must get your room in advance. I have went last minute before and got a room ,but i had work at it. Get there early and take a lawn chair, it a all day event. There a lot of seating in bleachers. I eat at the nugget buffet.
