It was a beautiful place to stay, the peace and quiet was wonderful. The chalet was a great place to stay with kids.

What an epic experience in so many ways!♥️ I was blessed to meet the wonderful owner Steve who literally went above and beyond to get me on the river today .I arrived after the rafts had left ( after going to the wrong rafting place) Steve was determined I would meet the group whilst ensuring my safety. He drove me miles to cut through a camp ground and scale a steep dodgy cliff face then he waded me through the river to the sandbank and walked me to my friends .A fantastic adventure 🙏 making me laugh all the way what a guy !! My faith in humanity is restored , he could literally have said sorry boats left , but chose to make my day ,I can't thank him enough!! The waves were 8 ft high and an incredible natural wonder of the world. If you are looking for a fun fantastic day with incredible hosts , I strongly recommend a visit ♥️

I'm still laughing and smiling over this day! What a wicked time doing 2hr tidal bore rafting. Our guide, Dewey, was super awesomesauce getting those big rafting waves and he's strong like a bull, pulling me out of the water when I fell in laughing. Totally ask for him if you want to ride the big ones!

Our first trip with my two teenage sons. Worth every dollar. Two hour trip actually lasted about 2 1/2 hours. We had an enthusiastic, knowledgeable guide/pilot who allowed us to swim in the river when the waves had died down and on our way back we stopped to go mud sliding which was a great bonus. Saw lots of bald eagles, a Hawk, and a seal on the trip. Water was warm even on a mild day, waves were big (6-8’) but not too extreme. A great experience probably overlooked by most locals but should be on every Nova Scotian’s bucket list! Can’t wait to go again.

Such an amazing first experience tidal bore rafting. The boat driver Wilson was such a chilled out guy and he made such a good trip. I personally did the 2 hour tour with my brother and father and it was so fun! It was all laughs the whole trip. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a thrill out on the water or to just have a great time with new people.
